O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
Psalm 43:3
The are many dangers in trying to find our way in the dark. One of these is the probability of deception. It is difficult to be deceived when things are open and visible, but in times of darkness there is a strong possibility that things are not – in reality – what we are led to believe. Perhaps the greatest deception takes place in our own hearts when we choose to walk in darkness rather than in the light of God’s Truth.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
John 3:21.
Darkness hides the way things really are. A light shined into a dark space will show what is truly inside. Jesus Himself is the Truth, and He always tells us the truth about ourselves. Ask Him to fully illuminate your heart and mind today, so that you will not be deceived.

“Darkness hides the way things really are. A light shined into a dark space will show what is truly inside”
It is so devistating to watch the reality of darkness in the lives of people that you love. Truths are avoided or excused, love is non existant, hate is at the forefront, pride and selfishness reign.
Men of God are not filled with such hatred toward a person that they threaten physical harm, and then excuse it away by saying “they deserved it”. Men of God do not force their wives out of their homes with their actions and behavior, and then place the blame on her because she actually left. Men of God do not refuse to reconcile a broken marriage and sever relationships with their young children.
The lies of Satan provide enough darkness to convince anyone that they are a child of God when in fact they are living a life of disobedience. The lies of Satan convince you that you are innocent and everyone else is to blame. Satan is lying to you when he tells you you have no responsibility for your actions.
When the light of the Lord shines upon you, you understand what Christ did by dying on Calvary, and your life reflects that same kind of sacrifice. It allows you to love even the unloveable. It allows you to forgive uncondiitonally as Christ has forgiven you. It allows you to read 1 Corinthians 13 and put those words into action because you know it is God’s Will.
The Scriptures are clear, you are not to divorce and you are not to separate from your spouse. If you are refusing to fix the problems in your marriage because you are placing the blame on someone else for the break up, the Bible says YOU are in sin. It is your lack of obedience to the Lord that is destroying you and keeping you in the darkness. Anyone who convinces you of something otherwise is a liar.
