Do You Know the Truth?

The Truth is not a philosophy, a set of ideals, or an abstract concept. The Truth is a person: the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:6

The Truth is not a man-made religion. Man-made religions set up systems whereby man tries to get to Heaven by doing something to earn God’s favor. That is impossible. The unjust cannot earn God’s favor.

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

I Peter 3:18

Do you know the Truth? Do you know the Way? Do you have the Life? Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, did what no one else could do. He fulfilled the righteousness of God. And now He offers you His righteousness as a free gift. Will you receive it before it is too late?

  1. Why in your blog are you giving so much time to discussing things of satan rather than things of God…..athiests? Don’t give a minute to the successes of the father of lies. Only God-talk will draw the lost. Lift up the Right. God will take care of the Wrong.

  2. I am doing a series of dialogues between a Christian and a PROFESSING atheist; there is no such thing as a real atheist. I am doing this because this is one of the ways the Apostle Paul shared the Truth. See Acts 17:2-4. You are correct in saying that one day God will take care of the “wrong,” but, in the meantime, He has ordained and appointed Christians to confront evil, unbelief, and lies, and expose them. See James 4:7 and II Corinthians 2:11.

  26. […] Every person comes into this world (which is a dark world, spiritually speaking) in a state of spiritual darkness himself. God’s truth is present in the world and it is the only source of light. Jesus is the Light of the World, but the existence of light – alone – does not bring about spiritual vision or the comprehension of truth. In order for light to be effective, there has to be the ability to see. Blind eyes have to be healed and spiritual blindfolds have to be removed. This can not be done by physical force, nor by debate, nor by fleshly enticement. It is part of the Holy Spirit’s work of regeneration when it happens – when an unbeliever becomes a believer. When a lost person gets saved – when someone who has been born only once (physically) gets born again (spiritually) – the Holy Spirit opens His eyes to the Truth. […]
